Two sets of regulations provide oversight for chemical and biological equipment, materials, and technology:
- The U.S. Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls’ includes Category XIV - Toxicological Agents, Including Chemical Agents, Biological Agents, and Associated Equipment.
